I went into the hospital to be induced at 5:30am that morning. They hooked me up to all the machines by 6:30am and I was ready to go.

The started me on Petossin (sp?) and my contractions began. At first they weren't too bad...but then my doctor came in and broke my water. After she broke my water, things started speeding up. By 3 and a half centimeters, I was ready for my epidural. Once they gave me my epidural...I was flying high! LOL! After that, it went pretty fast. By about 2:00pm I was 7 centimeters. Then, around a little after 4:00, it was time to push. I pushed for maybe 25-30 minutes before Ayla arrived! It was amazing! Jason started filming after she came out, and it was awesome! We both cried, of course! LOL! The whole labor and delivery went GREAT! No complications! I was in labor for about 11 hours total. We stayed in the hospital till Wednesday afternoon so they could run some tests on her, but everything was great! My sister, Leslie, and my sis-n-law, Cassie came down to spend the week and help us out. They were an AWESOME help! Cassie cooked for us...yummy!!
